NO MORE Officially Launches

Wednesday, March 13 marked the public launch of NO MORE, the nation's first unifying symbol to end domestic violence and sexual assault. Joyful Heart was honored to join NO MORE representatives, local advocates, journalists, elected officials and community members in Washington, D.C. for the launch.
The day included the release of new research on teens who witness violence, an announcement by VP Biden and AG Holder of new grants to reduce domestic violence homicides, a riveting speech by Mariska Hargitay delivered to dozens of the nation's leading journalists at the National Press Club, and the debut of a new PSA with the Washington Wizards. Throughout it all, we were live-blogging and chatting with people across the country about the many ways to say NO MORE.
