Redbook Devotes April Issue
to Child Abuse Awareness
We are thrilled to announce that the April, 2008 issue of Redbook Magazine, is dedicated to child abuse awareness.
In addition to our Founder and President, Mariska Hargitay gracing the cover, the Redbook issue includes a stunning spread of renowned photographer Timothy White's beautiful portraits of the Champions for Children Committee, a group of high-profile leaders in entertainment, industry and philanthropy founded and Chaired by Malaak Compton-Rock, dedicated to calling attention to the issue of child abuse.

The issue features an interview with Mariska Hargitay, conducted by actress and model Veronica Webb, about Mariska's role as Board member of Safe Horizon and her child abuse awareness efforts. It also includes several photographs of fellow Champions for Children members as well as information about the signs of abuse, the resources available to victims and guidance on how people can get involved.
