The mission of the Joyful Heart Foundation is to heal, educate and empower survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse, and to shed light into the darkness that surrounds these issues.

While women and children represent the majority of victims of sexual and domestic violence, we know that men are affected as well. Males are sexually and physically abused and assaulted. They are witnesses and bystanders to violence. And sometimes, they are the perpetrators.

Engaging men is a crucial part of the movement to address, prevent and, one day, end sexual violence, domestic violence and child abuse. Thank you for joining us.

For information and support, please find resources below.

If you or someone you know is experiencing sexual abuse or unwanted sexual contact, there is help. Visit the National Sexual Assault Online Hotline.
If you're a man who has had an unwanted or abusive sexual experience in childhood, or if you're the family, friend or loved one of somebody who has, there are resources to guide you. Visit 1in6.org.
If you're a man who wants to be a part of a growing movement that is working to promote healthy relationships and end violence against all people—men, women and children—then we welcome you to join us. Visit ACALLTOMEN.org.
