Jimmy Choo Shopping Event for a Cause

Thursday, 27 October 2016
Los Angeles, CA

On October 27, 2016, Los Angeles Committee members Jill Eisenstadt-Chayet, Heather Mnuchin, Wendy Landes, Kadie Chambers, Erica Fisher, Andrea DeKoning, Jane Buckingham, and Susie Sheinberg hosted a private shopping event at Jimmy Choo in Beverly Hills to benefit the Joyful Heart Foundation. The event brought together committee members and supporters from throughout Southern California to celebrate National Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Joyful Heart's work by shopping for a cause.

Joyful Heart's new PSA campaign, ENOUGH, played in rotation on the store's screens, sparking engaging conversations on our issue space throughout the evening. The ENOUGH campaign language mirrors back the societal attitudes that have excused, minimized, and helped perpetuate violence against women and girls for so long. The PSAs included a call to action for event supporters to be a part of a new conversation that affirms and uplifts survivors and commits to ending this violence forever.
