2013-2014 Accomplishments Education NO MORE

NO MORE has garnered over 670 million media impressions, including over 270 million impressions on television alone. To date, the PSAs have aired over 20,000 times on 123 TV stations across the country, including Time Warner Cable, Oxygen, USA, OK TV, Fox News Channel, Fox Business Channel and CNN, just to name a few. There have been 20 billboards across the country that have displayed the print campaign, including in the heart of Times Square in New York and at the corner of Hollywood and Vine in Los Angeles. All together, we have surpassed $6 million in donated ad value.

This year, Joyful Heart joined CEOs from the private sector at a first-of-its-kind meeting at the White House to discuss how corporations can turn towards these issues. Among the high-level corporate partnerships announced at the summit were two that Joyful Heart has forged partnerships with to further our reach of the NO MORE movement: USA and Viacom.

USA Network is the highest-rated cable television channel in the United States. In April, we partnered with USA to produce a 16-hour NO MORE Excuses marathon of Law & Order: SVU, in honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month. During the marathon, the NO MORE PSAs aired, along with special messages from the cast—filmed specifically for this marathon—which directed viewers to resources including 1in6, the National Domestic Violence Hotline, the National Sexual Assault Helpline and loveisrespect. On social media, NO MORE trended no fewer than five separate times throughout the day, generating over 22.5 million impressions on Twitter alone. Joyful Heart, NO MORE and our partners saw enormous increases in web traffic. For example, 1in6 had the most traffic to its website on a signal day ever, including the days following the Penn State scandal. Because it was so successful for USA—with episodes averaging 1 million viewers throughout the day and double-digit ratings increases compared with other marathons—we immediately began planning for future NO MORE Excuses marathons.
