National Runaway Switchboard (NRS)

The National Runaway Switchboard provides crisis intervention, travel assistance and referrals for shelters nationwide to runaway and homeless youth. NRS will also help finding shelter, food, medical assistance or counseling services. NRS will relay messages to, or set up conference calls with, parent(s)/guardian(s) at the request of the child. NRS also provides prevention, education and outreach to children and families.
