Hawaii News Now (HNN), the largest television conglomerate in the state, is the exclusive television partner of One Strong ‘Ohana. All three local television stations that are a part of HNN—KHNL8 (NBC affiliate), KGMB9 (CBS affiliate) and KFVE5 (MyNetworkTV affiliate)—has provided in-kind media support to broadcast the public service announcements and other news content to generate awareness on the campaign.

The Cox Media Group is the exclusive O‘ahu radio media partner of One Strong ‘Ohana and are providing in-kind media support for the public service announcements and other news content. Nearly 75% of Honolulu’s radio market share comes from Cox Media Group, which stretches across six stations including Hawaiian 105 KINE, KCCN FM 100, Power 104.3, Krater 96, Krater 650 AM and KKNE 940 AM—all of which are a part of this partnership.

Honolulu Star-Advertiser and MidWeek

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser is the largest—and only—daily newspaper in the state and reaches nearly 150,000 individuals every day. MidWeek, a sister publication of the Honolulu Star-Advertiser, is one of Hawai‘i’s most recognized publications and reaches over 230,000 island households on O‘ahu each week. Together, these publications are the exclusive print media partner of One Strong ‘Ohana and are providing in-kind media support for the public service announcement as well as other news content to spread the campaign’s message across the state.

Jamba Juice

The better-for-you beverage and food destination sold three Fit 'n Fruitful Smoothies at all locations in Hawai‘i with 25 cents (up to $10,000) from each product donated to One Strong ‘Ohana. In-store Bank of Hawai‘i ATMs are featuring One Strong ‘Ohana promotion and informational tip cards were distributed to both Jamba Juice employees and consumers.

Whole Foods Market

With two new locations in Hawai‘i, Whole Foods Market is supporting One Strong ‘Ohana through a variety of in-store opportunities. Both stores displayed campaign posters and distribute tip cards at the registers, community events and in employee break rooms. In addition, the stores incporated the campaign messaging in their “Keiki in the Kitchen” cooking classes. In the Kahala store, One Strong ‘Ohana was also the recipient of the “Recycle Your Change” program from April to June 2012, and the Maui store hosted an in-store event for children and families in the month of January. And finally, Whole Foods Market’s phone recordings have included educational messages and content from the One Strong ‘Ohana campaign.

Fun Factory

The beloved family-friendly entertainment destination consists of 13 locations in Hawai‘i. Each of these locations distributes tip cards at registers and displays campaign posters on-site while. Additionally, the company’s website has featured a One Strong ‘Ohana website banner.
