Joyful Heart Foundation

The Joyful Heart Foundation works to foster a community that turns toward the issues of sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse. Such a community, empowered with knowledge, courage and compassion, can support survivors of this violence and engage in an open dialogue about how to collaboratively end the cycle of violence and abuse. We invite you to read our story here and join our joyful community.

Spotlight: One Strong ‘Ohana Launches in Hawai‘i

In 2010, Joyful Heart joined in a groundbreaking partnership with the Hawai'i Children's Trust Fund to develop the most comprehensive child abuse prevention public awareness campaign in the state of Hawai‘i. After over two years of research, development and preparation, we are proud to unveil the One Strong 'Ohana campaign.

Building upon a strengths-based approach to preventing child abuse and neglect, One Strong ‘Ohana emphasizes the simple ways we can create a positive and healthy environment for Hawai‘i’s children as One Strong ‘Ohana (family) through small ways that build support, community and connections.
