Our Committees
Joyful Heart’s community includes a variety of committees who support and sustain our work through fundraising, hosting events and promoting Joyful Heart’s advocacy, public awareness and education efforts.
San Francisco Bay Area Committee
In 2015, a group of volunteer supporters amplified/enacted/deepened their commitment to Joyful Heart’s mission and vision by convening and launching the San Francisco Bay Area Committee to play a key role in expanding our programs and building coalitions and partnerships throughout California.
GenerationJOY
The GenerationJOY committee was created to educate, inspire and empower the next generation of advocates to become agents of change in their communities. Since 2016, GenerationJOY has grown to include over 30 members, successfully hosted several events and raised funds in support of Joyful Heart’s mission.
National Committee
This committee is a group of dedicated advocates and professionals from across the nation that help spread the word on our key initiatives, including but not limited to: the JHF Virtual Book Club, JHF Marathons, Heal the Healers, the JHF Podcast, and have the opportunity to fundraise in their own communities. Through their awareness and community-building efforts, the committee helps create opportunities for education and action around the most pressing issues related to abuse and violence.
